In the past few years, the Center for Biblical Training has moved toward Haitian directors and instructors. Beginning with the fourth class, all our regular instructors are Haitian and many are graduates from the CBT.
Rodney Richard is a graduate of the second class of the CBT, and a minister at the Peltan congregation. He has completed graduate work with Sunset International Bible Institute. He is one of the three Haitian Directors of the CBT. In addition to his classroom teaching, Richard directs the practical Evangelism aspect of the students’ training.
Teogene Fonrose is a graduate of Jamaica School of Preaching. He has started three congregations: Galman, Lamoliere and Cadouche. He has been with the CBT since the beginning, serving as assistant director under Milton Eckhart, Dale Huff and David Dirrim. He is now one of the three Haitian Directors of the CBT. Fonrose has a passion for the work of an evangelist like the apostle Paul. He begins every class of students memorizing the Sermon on the Mount.
Joel Joseph is a graduate of the first class of the CBT and a minister at the Duty congregation. Joel teaches Christian Ethics and several trimesters of Old Testament History and Geography.
Edouard St. Clervil is a graduate of the fourth class of the CBT. He was the valedictorian of his class and an outstanding student. He is one of the three Haitian Directors of the CBT. He works with the congregations of Bas La Riviere (with Mivoy Devalcin from the first class) and Duverger. Edouard teaches French and textual courses.
